Radical Discipleship is a weekly Bible discussion group that is currently focusing on Mark, the first of the gospels written around A.D. 70. Mark's gospel is breathtaking in its immediacy and pace. As an editor and theologian, Mark uses the oral tradition to which he had access to construct an introduction to Jesus Christ. This first gospel was likely read in short sections and discussed by small groups in the early church as a means of study and as a method of evangelism.
