In the Presbyterian Church, the church is led by a team made up of the pastors and the elders of the session (or governing board). We have many good people dedicating their time to support Trinity's ministry, and we are also blessed with a talented and dedicated staff.

Meet Our Staff

	Pastor: Steve Whitney (Send e-mail) Pastor Steve left a successful Silicon Valley computer career to follow God's call to ministry. Now he, wife Eleanor, sons John and Joshua, and daughter Lydia live in West Sacramento. Visit their website or read Pastor Steve's blog

Pastor of Latino Ministries: Tina Torres (Send e-mail) Tina Torres sees herself as a bridge between cultures.  Born in Queens, NY, she later lived for 14 years in Mexico City where she truly met the Lord and became totally "bi-cultural."  Tina worked as a court interpreter (Spenish-English) until she accepted her call to ministry and went to seminary.
	Music Director: Joseph Faith (Send e-mail) Joe, a talented musician with a master's degree in music, has many years of experience leading God's people in worship using the best music available. He directs our choir and praise team and the "Last Call Band." Joe also plays a number of instruments including clarinet, keyboard, harp, and cello. Come see him on Sundays or at choir or praise team practice. (Check the calendar for times.)
	Director of Pastoral Care and Children's Arts Ministries: Debra Johnston (Send e-mail) Working to help us care for those in need, make connections with church members, and enrich the lives of our children, Debra brings pastoral care experience, gifts in the arts, theological knowledge, teaching skills, and a great creative spirit to our church.
	Director of Children's, Youth, and Young Adult Ministries: Sue Goodwin (Send e-mail) Sue is a strong Christian, a teacher at Sacramento Country Day School, and a former youth worker. She is uniquely qualified to coordinate, support, and encourage Trinity's ministry with children, students, and young adults. 	Dan Meyerpeter, "Youth Guy" (send e-mail) Dan Meyerpeter has a passion for youth ministry and also for ministry with the people Jesus called "the least of these my brothers and sisters."  He also works with the Collings West Sacramento Teen Center.
	Pianist/Keyboardist: Boris Karpuk Boris has tremendous talent on piano, electronic keyboards, and organ. He accompanies the hymns and choir and also plays other music at the 11:00 service.
	Church Office Manager: Maxine Boisclair (Send e-mail) Maxine has been a leader at Trinity for many years and is now sharing her gifts by serving as office manager. Since she knows the church well and is a strong Christian with a big heart so she can help out in all kinds of ways when people call or drop by. Give her a call and say hi between 9 and 2 Monday through Friday.

Our session - the church board elected by the congregation - is currently made up of Robert Armijo, John Chandley, Judi Chiboucas, Nola Goeden, Rhonda Hensley, Wendy O'Donnell, Anna Perrine, David Reynen, and Pat Terry.

Meet the Deacons

The current members of our Board of Deacons - responsible for hospitality, ministries of compassion, and care for the members of our congregation - are Jill Blunk, Lorraine Cunningham, Carole Dunsmore, Clara Evans, Megan Faiello, Nancy Faith, Debra Johnston, Betty Lee, Karen Metcalf, and Laura Singh.
